Once the best choices are selected, it is time for us to together find a date suitable for you to view the chosen options and to decide which is the one. The viewings normally take 1 half day or if necessary 2 X half a day, possibly for a reviewing. We can also arrange for an inspection trip (read more about our inspection trips here)
When you have found your perfect match a deposit is paid as a reservation fee and to grant you the property of your choice. The reservation fee can vary depending on the price of the property but also dependent of whether you are buying a new built property through the builder (under our supervision), through a bank (under our supervision) or a resale.
The deposit for new constructed properties normally range from €3.000 to €6.000. For a resale property you would have to pay roughly 10% of the purchase price and a minimum of €8.000.
As soon as the deposit is paid the final process is started with all the remaining procedure. We have already, before the listing made sure that all the documents are in order, that the builder is solid and that the property is not involved in any process or debts that along the way could cause our clients any problem. We will also help you to get your NIE-number (Spanish Tax Identification Number) a bank account (obligatory for payment), present you to a recommended solicitor and make sure that you get a water and electricity contract so that you can receive your key to your home and enjoy it from day one without any concern.
